History
The traditional company Schake was founded in 1908 by Johann Schake in Wetter-Volmarstein as a blacksmith's and wagon smithy. Even in the early years, the company began manufacturing building hardware.
In the 1960s, the first product ideas were developed in today's core product ranges. The company continued to grow in the early 2000s - four new sites were opened, the technology was constantly modernized and the product range was significantly expanded.
To this day, the company continues to evolve in order to successfully combine innovation and tradition.

Building sustainably and safely - that is what drives us, the goal of our daily work and what we put all our energy and passion into every day. Just as our products are not just a means to an end for us, but are developed and produced with passion, the how and the associated impact on people and the environment is also crucial for us.
